Holidays are just the best. Surrounded by family, friends and kangaroos, how can you go wrong? I don’t get a lot of craft or art done when I’m on holidays (I’m so impressed by people who bring a project with them), but I have done my fair share of fabric shopping.  In my Mum’s craft room mostly!

It’s hot and dry, which is always scary on the farm.  2 weeks ago there was a big grass fire that stopped just shy of our house.  And today we have almost 40°C with high winds, so it’s high alert all round. That means getting the pumps and hoses ready at our place.

The best place to be to ride out the heat is, of course, the pool.  Although we were attacked by a rogue outdoor umbrella in the wind the other day.
