I showed you my new workspace I got for my birthday a few weeks ago, and I’ve got to say, it’s WONDERFUL!  Isn’t it a dream to have a space to lay things out, plan, draw, leave things out, cut, sew, watch the snow fall? I am definitely loving it. I’ve added a couple more things to my shelf, aside from photo’s and books. Do you like scented candles? I never used them much before, but I got a beauty for my birthday and it’s so great, not overpowering at all, just a delicious, fresh, floral scent.

I also have a beautiful pincushion made for me by my Mum. A stunning clutch I was given that I just can’t bear to put away. Jurlique hand-cream and moisturizing mist (love Jurlique). And a tiny set of bowls that I keep little pins, needles and sequins in.

Do you have little knick-knacks on your desk or workspace? For me it’s the equivalent of an inspiration board. I never cut out pictures, I’m definitely a 3D person. I just have to make sure I don’t veer over to the dark side of clutter…

It’s a slippery slope.
